Human VS GOD Shuumatsu no Valkyrie (Record of Ragnarok)
Hello this is my first post in medium, and I will share you my opinion about this amazing and many controversial within it, so lets start…
but first I tell you I just talk about the anime not include the manga..
Brief of the story
to make it simple the story begin when the gods of the world have convened to decided the continued existence of human every thousand years and under the head of the convened, Zeus they decided to make the end for humankind. but it decline by Brunhild, one of the 13 demigod valkyries and give a proposal to hold the “Ragnarock” showdown 13 human vs 13 god to decided the fate of humankind
Interesting Part
First what make this anime is worth to watch is the story!! If you are a veteran anime lovers like me you must be miss a unique story not all about the ISEKAI thing or other mainstream story. and in here in this anime I never though that some one that brave enough to raise a story about human vs god which is in reality yaa you know who will win the game but who knows brunhild will play part in this game by sending 13 demigod to lend their power to the human so they could fight fairly, but there is still so much mystery in the story
Next, I like the story behind the character like the story of Adam, and Sasaki koujiro and now I’m waiting from the jack the reaper part, I’m curious how the author will pack his story. and indirectly this anime make me learn the history and mythology.
My favorite part are the story of adam, It shown how he love his child (which is all human) and wife and how he fight till the end for what he dear for, and it make me goose bump, and eventho he loose he succeed bring the hope for mankind (since they have loose 2 round in a row)
Than there is Sasaki Koujiro the greatest loser that bring first win for humankind, he win again the mighty Posseidon, I like the part where the mare looser could win again a really badass character but there is something on it like why it must be character from japan, why not let Adam win the battle T_T (but make sense he fight with Zeus the head of all god T_T)
The Controversy
There are some controversial part like how it banned in India because there is lord Shiva on it, (well religion are sensitive).
base on the article on https://screenrant.com/record-ragnarok-controversy-shiva-character-banned/ it said that the portrayal of Lord Shiva could make misconceptions about the religion and currently banned in India. well, I still don’t understand and lack of information of Lord Shiva maybe some one who read this could explain it to me, but If I put my self of India people who majority Hinduism or as someone who praying to the god I will likely angry or asking what the fuck is you create for. And for the author or all people that have part in make the story you guys need to be really careful on choosing the character and need to pay attention on it.
So far I like how the story run, and still waiting for the jack reaper part!! I give the score 8.5/10 for this anime
